OAK GROVE ELEMENTARY

Dear Oak Grove Families and Students,

 

Welcome back to another exciting school year at Oak Grove Elementary! I hope our students and families enjoyed a wonderful summer filled with time to relax, recharge, and make special memories. It is a joy to welcome our returning All Stars back to campus and to extend a warm welcome to the families joining the Oak Grove community for the first time.

 

At Oak Grove, we are proud to be a dynamic and inclusive learning community where every student is supported, challenged, and encouraged to reach their full potential. Our dedicated teachers and staff are committed to providing engaging, standards-based instruction while creating classrooms where students feel connected, confident, and excited about learning.

 

We begin this school year with much to celebrate. In 2025, Oak Grove Elementary was recognized on the California Honor Roll, an achievement that reflects our unwavering commitment to high levels of student learning and continuous improvement. This recognition is a testament to the hard work of our students, the dedication of our teachers and staff, and the tremendous support of our families.

 

While we are incredibly proud of our academic accomplishments, we know that student success extends beyond academic achievement. Our instructional approach is grounded in strong academic practices while also prioritizing the development of students’ social and emotional strengths. We want our All-Stars to become confident learners, thoughtful problem-solvers, compassionate classmates, and responsible members of their community.

 

One of Oak Grove’s greatest strengths is the partnership between our school and our families. Your involvement, encouragement, and support make an important difference in the lives of our students. Together, we create a school community where children know they are valued, where learning is celebrated, and where every student has opportunities to shine.

 

As we begin this new school year, I look forward to all that we will accomplish together. I encourage our students to be curious, work hard, take academic risks, and embrace new opportunities. I also look forward to welcoming our families to the many events and experiences that make Oak Grove such a special community.
